With the comprehensive renovation of the Calvinhaus, mrh architektur ag has transformed a historically evolved building into a contemporary residential and commercial property. The intervention connects heritage and modernity through a clear, material-conscious architectural language. A central element of the conversion is the custom-made elevator from our manufactory. Its integration into the newly designed staircase made of tinted exposed concrete demonstrates a high level of architectural sensitivity. The lift blends seamlessly into the overall design — not only functionally, but also aesthetically.

The cabin impresses with real wood veneer, glass corners, and a precisely guided LED light line that subtly accentuates the space. The glazed shaft allows views of the visible technology — cable routing, guide rails, and the black-painted counterweight become part of the architectural staging. With eight stops and a load capacity of 975 kg, the system ensures comfortable, barrier-free access — a prime example of the successful combination of function, design quality, and refined craftsmanship.
