The company
Tomorrow’s technology with experience accumulated over the years
Our company founded in 1880 is today in the hands of the 4th generation of the Emch family. The share capital of CHF 3 million is 100% family-owned.
What can you expect from our old-established, independent company that has grown from family structures? Partnership, mutual respect, quality awareness and the utilisation of state-of-the-art technology with which we will also meet your requirements in the years to come.
Individuality first and foremost
You, the customer, are at the centre of everything we think and do. These are not empty phrases but demonstrable facts. Or do you know any other lift manufacturer as resolutely capable of accommodating individual needs as ourselves?
Here individuality is not an empty buzzword. Because we produce all lifts in our factory in Bern, we have the quality and user-oriented design under control from start to finish.
Our specialities are hydraulic lifts with a traction cylinder and counterweight balance, individual solutions as part of design concepts for new buildings, renovation of old buildings and special structural circumstances.
Highly-qualified, motivated personnel
Our strongest argument is our highly-qualified and often long-serving workforce that constantly expands our pool of knowledge. We support them in every possible way:
• with attractive conditions of employment
• with systematic basic and further training
• with tried and tested internal communications structures
• by encouraging them to shoulder responsibility and behave proactively in their own interest
We currently employ a workforce of 180.
